Christmas Newsletter 2013

The Smith family had a busy crazy year, we had so much fun camping with family fishing, playing in the stream, playing slip and slide with the cousins and going to family dinners. We have been spending what extra time we have enjoying life and making the best of it by being with the people who love us. We added to our family and adopted Jasper our dog, he is great with the girls and our first day with him we took him camping and he fit right in.

Shawn has been busy working at KFC and the Harmony Home Furnishings, he just completed another year at Sothern Utah University this time next year he should be graduated with a bachelors degree in History. After a few years of doctors appointments we found out that Shawn has Celiac Disease, we are adapting to his new diet, the doctor told us that if needed he could set us up with a diet specialist but so far we have transitioned well. He continues to be an amazing dad, enjoying all his time with his girls, he has KaLee wrapped around his finger.

Kasey is working with the daycare doing a small preschool program working on letters and putting books together for each kid of their art work, she is completing the shift supervisor classes for KFC and is in First place running for the $100 prize for first in the class. She just started her shifts at the new Stone Haven Special Event Center and has booked two events so far for next year in her wedding end event business. she is loving being home with the girls the nights she has off of KFC and the event center and watching them grow well she is at daycare.

Jacy is 3 years old, she is so smart and absorbs every peace of information she can, she has the memory of a steel trap, she enjoys her sister and loves making her laugh, she loves making Jasper chase her around the house and running or riding her bike with him. she loves puzzles and can count to 7. she has the most amazing imagination and enjoys helping with cooking and cleaning everything but her room.

KaLee is 1 year old we have really enjoyed watching her grow this last year, she is so full of energy  and is running around the house she likes to eat everything, she is a daddy's girl and will take daddy over mom any day. she like to tease Jasper and take his toys running away, she is growing tall so fast she is in 24 month cloths at 14 months old, she is still only 18 pounds but she is healthy and still gaining weight. she still has her temper and will let you know when she wants something, she hates getting her hair done in the morning but loves brushing her teeth.
